東芝分割案、反対６割　株主提案上回る―臨時総会投票結果

　東芝は２８日、２４日の臨時株主総会で、東芝経営陣が提出したグループ２分割案への反対が５９．６９％だったと発表した。「物言う株主」が非上場化などの検討を求めた提案への反対は５４．８４％だった。いずれも否決されたが、東芝経営陣の提案に対する反対が株主提案を上回ったことで、再編計画案は大幅な見直しを迫られそうだ。（2022/03/28-17:47）

Some 60 Pct of Shareholders against Toshiba's Two-Way Split Proposal

Almost 60 pct of Toshiba Corp. shareholders voted against the Japanese electronics and heavy machinery maker's two-way split plan at an extraordinary general meeting last week, the company said Monday.
According to a report the firm submitted to the Kanto Local Finance Bureau the same day, 59.69 pct of Toshiba owners opposed the spin-off plan. On the other hand, 54.84 pct rejected an activist shareholder's proposal that Toshiba go private.
