セブンも元日休業実験　都内約５０店

　セブン―イレブン・ジャパンは１１日、来年１月１日に東京都内で臨時休業の実験を行うと明らかにした。直営店と加盟店を合わせた約５０店が対象。結果を踏まえ導入するかを検討する。実験の詳細は今後詰める。
　人手不足に悩む加盟店からは、２４時間営業の短縮に加え、元日休業を希望する声も上がっている。セブンの担当者は「売り上げへの影響などを把握したい」と話している。（2019/12/11-19:24）

Major convenience store operator Seven-Eleven Japan Co. will conduct test closures of a total of some 50 directly run and franchise stores in Tokyo on Jan. 1, 2020, company officials said Wednesday.
Details will be set later. The unit of retail giant Seven & i Holdings Co. will consider whether to formally introduce a New Year's Day closure system based on the outcome of the test, according to the officials.
