本荘大阪ガス社長：海外利益、来年度２～３倍　英国で電力小売り出資

　大阪ガスの本荘武宏社長は１０日までにインタビューに応じ、２０２０年度の海外事業の利益が１９年度（約６５億円）の２～３倍に拡大するとの見通しを明らかにした。資本参加する米国の液化天然ガス（ＬＮＧ）輸出事業などが本格化する上、新たにイギリスで電力小売りにも出資。「海外ビジネスは（資源開発から小売りまで）上中下流ともに利益に貢献してくる」と語った。（2019/12/10-19:36）

INTERVIEW: Osaka Gas Expects FY 2020 Overseas Profit to Surge

Osaka Gas Co. President Takehiro Honjo has said the company expects its profit from overseas operations in fiscal 2020 will jump two to three times from some 6.5 billion yen estimated for the current year.
"Our upstream, midstream and downstream businesses abroad will contribute to our profits," Honjo said in a recent interview, anticipating rosy performances in areas including natural resources development and retail operations.
