新規感染２万人超える　東京４０５１人、前週の４倍―新型コロナ

　国内では１４日、新たに２万２０４５人の新型コロナウイルス感染者が確認された。新規感染者が２万人を上回るのは昨年９月１日以来、約４カ月半ぶり。長野県や京都府、愛媛県、熊本県などで過去最多を更新した。
　１日当たりの感染者が１万人を超えたのは１２日で、拡大が加速している。これまでの最多は「第５波」のピークだった昨年８月２０日の２万５９９０人。
　死者は計１１人だった。厚生労働省によると、全国の重症者は前日比９６人増の２２１人となった。
　東京都では新たに４０５１人の感染が判明。１日当たりの感染者は前週金曜日の約４倍に増えた。４０００人を超えるのは昨年８月２７日以来、約４カ月半ぶり。死者１人も確認された。
　都によると、新規感染者の年代別では、２０代が１４７４人で最も多く、３０代以下が全体の約７割を占めている。都基準による重症者は３人で、前日から１人減った。（2022/01/14-23:01）

Tokyo reported 4,051 new cases of novel coronavirus infection Friday, topping 4,000 for the first time since Aug. 27 last year.
   The daily figure almost quadrupled from a week before. One new COVID-19 death was reported in the Japanese capital.
   According to the metropolitan government, people in their 20s accounted for the largest portion of the newly infected by age group, at 1,474. Some 70 pct of Friday's total were people aged 39 or under.
   The number of very ill COVID-19 patients under Tokyo's criteria fell by one from Thursday to three.
