岸田内閣支持増５１．７％　維新４．３％、立民４．０％―時事世論調査

　時事通信が７～１０日に実施した１月の世論調査で、岸田内閣の支持率は前月比６．８ポイント増の５１．７％だった。不支持率は５．３ポイント減の１８．７％、「分からない」は１．５ポイント減の２９．６％。昨年１０月の岸田内閣発足以降、初めて５割を超えた。
　調査期間は新型コロナウイルスの変異株「オミクロン株」の感染者が全国で急増し始めた時期と重なるが、水際対策などコロナ対応や、安倍・菅両政権と比べ「丁寧な説明」に努める姿勢が一定の評価を得たとみられる。
　新型コロナへの政府対応を尋ねると、「評価する」は前月比０．５ポイント減の４５．２％、「評価しない」は同２．１ポイント減の３１．４％、「どちらとも言えない・分からない」は同２．６ポイント増の２３．４％だった。
　内閣を支持する理由（複数回答）は、「他に適当な人がいない」２０．０％、「印象が良い」１６．２％、「首相を信頼する」１１．９％の順で、「印象が良い」は前月比６．２ポイント増だった。支持しない理由（同）は「期待が持てない」９．０％、「政策がだめ」５．９％、「首相の属する党を支持していない」５．５％の順。
　政党支持率は自民党が前月比０．８ポイント減の２５．６％、日本維新の会が同０．６ポイント減の４．３％、立憲民主党は同１．０ポイント減の４．０％で、維新が立民を上回った。４番手以下は公明党３．０％、共産党１．６％、れいわ新選組０．８％、国民民主党０．７％、社民党０．４％、「ＮＨＫと裁判してる党弁護士法７２条違反で」０．２％。「支持政党なし」は５７．４％。
　調査は全国の１８歳以上の男女２０００人を対象に個別面接方式で実施。有効回収率は６４．６％。（2022/01/14-17:08）

The public approval rate for Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's cabinet grew 6.8 percentage points from the previous month to 51.7 pct in January, a Jiji Press opinion survey showed Friday.
   The approval rate exceeded 50 pct for the first time since the launch of his administration in October last year.
   The disapproval rate fell 5.3 points to 18.7 pct. The proportion of people who said neither or that they do not know came to 29.6 pct, down 1.5 points, according to the survey, conducted for four days through Monday.
   During the survey period, new cases of the omicron coronavirus variant began to soar in Japan.
   But public support for the Kishida cabinet increased apparently thanks to its novel coronavirus measures. In addition, Kishida's stance of providing careful explanations to the public is likely to have given a better impression than the attitudes of his two immediate predecessors, Shinzo Abe and Yoshihide Suga.
