日本到着便、新規予約停止　国交省が航空各社に要請、年末まで

　国土交通省は１日までに、新型コロナウイルスの新たな変異株「オミクロン株」の感染拡大を防ぐため、日本への到着便を運航する国内外すべての航空会社に対し、到着便の搭乗予約の新規受け付けを停止するよう要請した。当面１２月末まで１カ月間の措置。日本航空と全日本空輸は要請を受け、１日から新規予約の受け付けを停止した。
　今回の措置により、予約を取っていなかった海外在住の日本人が年末年始に帰国できなくなる事態も想定される。（2021/12/01-19:53）

Japan's transport ministry has asked all airlines operating flights to Japan not to accept new reservations for such flights at least until the end of December, as part of efforts to prevent the spread of the omicron variant of the novel coronavirus.
   Following the ministry's request, All Nippon Airways, an ANA Holdings Inc. unit, and Japan Airlines on Wednesday stopped taking reservations for inbound flights.
   Japanese people living abroad who have not booked flights to Japan yet may not be able to return home for the year-end and and New Year holidays.
   On Tuesday, Japan imposed a ban on new entries of foreigners arriving from anywhere in the world as an emergency precautionary measure against the omicron variant, which is spreading globally.
   The request to halt new reservations for inbound flights is aimed at further tightening border controls.
