父外出５分後に放火か　逮捕の伯父、両親不在時狙う？―小学生２人殺害・兵庫県警

　兵庫県稲美町で住宅が全焼し、焼け跡から小学生の兄弟２人の遺体が見つかった放火事件で、殺人と現住建造物等放火容疑で逮捕された伯父の無職松尾留与容疑者（５１）が、兄弟の父が母を迎えに出た５～１０分後に放火した疑いのあることが２５日、県警加古川署捜査本部への取材で分かった。両親の不在時を狙った可能性もあるとみて、県警は動機などを詳しく調べる。
　松尾容疑者は１９日午後１１時３５～４０分ごろ、稲美町岡の自宅に火を付けて全焼させ、室内で寝ていた小学６年松尾侑城君（１２）と弟の同１年真輝君（７）を殺害したとして、２４日に逮捕された。室内で見つかった燃え残りの布団などから可燃性の液体が検出され、油のようなものをまいて火を放ったとみられる。調べに対し、容疑を認めているという。
　県警によると、兄弟の父は１９日午後１１時半ごろ、仕事を終えた母を迎えに行くため車で外出しており、出火時に住宅にいたのは兄弟と松尾容疑者だけだったとみられる。松尾容疑者は数年前から同居していたが、家族との接触は少なかったといい、県警は両親の不在を知った上で放火したかも調べる。
　松尾容疑者は放火後に徒歩で逃げたとみられ、２４日午後１時ごろ、大阪市北区の公園のベンチに座っていたところを捜査員に職務質問され、身柄を確保された。やけどや服の破損はなく、所持金は数千円で、スマートフォンは持っておらず、素直に任意同行に応じたという。
　近所の住民によると、松尾容疑者は亡くなった兄弟の母の兄で、全焼した住宅は松尾容疑者や母の実家だった。不動産登記簿によると、土地は松尾容疑者名義になっている。（2021/11/25-13:54）

Police have arrested a 51-year-old man for allegedly setting fire to a house in the town of Inami, Hyogo Prefecture, western Japan, and killing his two young nephews, earlier this month.
   The Hyogo prefectural police department arrested Tomeyo Matsuo on Wednesday on suspicion of murder and arson. The suspect was living with the victims, both elementary school boys, and their family in the house.
   Matsuo is suspected of setting the house on fire between around 11:35 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. Friday last week, killing the boys, who were sleeping in the house. He has admitted to the charges, according to investigative sources.
   The house burned almost to ashes. The bodies of elementary school sixth-grader Yuki Matsuo, 12, and his 7-year-old brother, Masaki, a first-grader, were discovered in the ruins. The cause of their deaths was acute monoxide poisoning due to the inhalation of smoke.
   The suspect had gone missing after the arson. Police investigators found him sitting on a bench in a park in the city of Osaka, the capital of the namesake prefecture, which neighbors Hyogo, on Wednesday afternoon.
