前会長の取締役解任提案　１２月に臨時株主総会―山口ＦＧ

　山口フィナンシャルグループ（ＦＧ）は１日、臨時株主総会を１２月２４日に開き、前会長兼グループＣＥＯ（最高経営責任者）の吉村猛取締役を解任する議案を諮ると発表した。先月公表した調査報告で、吉村氏が新銀行設立構想を取締役会の決議を経ず権限を逸脱して進めていたと認定されたことを受け、「取締役としての資質を有さない」として辞任するよう勧告していた。
　一方、吉村氏は調査結果について納得ができないと主張し、辞任勧告を拒否している。このため、山口ＦＧは臨時株主総会を開いて解任議案を出すことを決めたという。（2021/11/01-18:16）

Japan's Yamaguchi Financial Group Inc. said Monday that it will convene an extraordinary meeting of shareholders Dec. 24 to seek their approval for its proposal to dismiss Director Takeshi Yoshimura.
The holding company for regional banks in western and southwestern Japan is urging Yoshimura, former chairman and group CEO, to resign as board director after an internal probe found that he tried to move ahead with his plan to create a new retail bank without securing a resolution from the board.
