スーパー売上高３．２％増　総菜など「巣ごもり需要」堅調―９月

　日本チェーンストア協会が２１日発表した９月の全国スーパー売上高は１兆５１０億円だった。既存店ベースで前年同月比３．２％増と、２カ月ぶりのプラス。新型コロナウイルス対策の緊急事態宣言などが９月末まで延長されたことで、総菜などの「巣ごもり需要」が堅調だった。
　食料品は４．８％増。総菜に加え、野菜の値上がりが販売額を押し上げた。住居関連品も２．７％増と好調。自転車やアウトドア用品が売れた。半面、衣料品は天候不順が響き、１４．２％減だった。（2021/10/21-17:18）

Sales at supermarkets in Japan in September came to some 1,051 billion yen, up 3.2 pct from a year earlier on a same-store basis, the Japan Chain Stores Association said Thursday.
Demand for prepared food and other products linked to people staying at home was strong as the Japanese government extended its COVID-19 state of emergency until the end of September.
