８月の外食売上高８．６％減　コロナ急拡大、５カ月ぶり前年割れ

　日本フードサービス協会が２７日発表した８月の外食産業売上高（新規店を含む全店ベース）は、前年同月比８．６％減少した。新型コロナウイルス感染の急拡大に伴う営業時間短縮や酒類の提供制限が響き、５カ月ぶりの前年割れとなった。
　コロナ禍前の２年前と比べると２４．４％減少しており、外食業界は苦境が続いている。（2021/09/27-18:10）

Restaurant sales in Japan in August fell 8.6 pct from a year before, marking the first decline in five months, the Japan Food Service Association said Monday.
Many restaurants and bars were asked to cut business hours and had restrictions on the serving of alcoholic drinks amid a surge in COVID-19 cases.
