ＫＭバイオ、２２年度実用化　コロナワクチン、最終治験へ

　明治ホールディングス傘下のＫＭバイオロジクス（熊本市）は２１日、開発中の新型コロナウイルスワクチンについて、実用化の目標時期を２０２２年度中に１年前倒しすると発表した。初期段階の臨床試験（治験）で安全性や有効性を確認できたため、今年１０月以降に最終治験の準備を始める。（2021/09/21-21:16）

KM Biologics Co. aims to put a COVID-19 vaccine it is developing into practical use in fiscal 2022, one year earlier than initially planned, the unit of Japanese food and pharmaceuticals group Meiji Holdings Co. has said.
KM Biologics, based in the southwestern Japan city of Kumamoto, will launch in October or later preparations for the final phase of the clinical trial for the inactivated novel coronavirus vaccine, after the company confirmed its safety and effectiveness in the early phase of the trial.
