ホンダ「オデッセイ」生産終了へ　年内、「レジェンド」も

　ホンダは１５日、ファミリー層に人気のミニバン「オデッセイ」など乗用車３車種の生産を終了すると明らかにした。２０２１年度中に予定している狭山工場（埼玉県狭山市）の閉鎖に併せ、高級セダンの「レジェンド」「クラリティ」とともに年内に生産を打ち切る。
　これに伴い、在庫がなくなり次第、販売も終了となる。
　オデッセイは１９９４年に登場。当時ミニバンは珍しく、子育て世帯などの支持を集め、看板車種の一つとなった。ただ、近年は小型ミニバンなどに人気が移り、販売が低迷していた。生産停止についてホンダは「苦渋の決断」とコメントした。（2021/06/15-22:37）

Honda to End Production of Odyssey Minivan

Honda Motor Co. will end the production of three passenger vehicle models, including the Odyssey minivan, a popular choice among families, company officials said.
The Japanese automaker will stop manufacturing the Odyssey, as well as the Legend and Clarity high-end sedans, by the end of this year, in line with the planned closure of a plant in Sayama, Saitama Prefecture, north of Tokyo, in fiscal 2021.
