東芝、臨時取締役会開催へ　１４日、買収提案協議

　東芝が１４日に臨時取締役会を予定していることが１３日、分かった。東芝は英投資ファンドＣＶＣキャピタル・パートナーズから買収提案を受けており、今後の対応などを協議するとみられる。
　ＣＶＣが６日に行った初期提案では、１株当たり５０００円の買い取り価格を提示。７月にもＴＯＢ（株式公開買い付け）を実施し、１０月の上場廃止を見込んでいる。官民ファンドの産業革新投資機構（ＪＩＣ）や日本政策投資銀行などの参加も想定する。（2021/04/13-22:10）

Toshiba Board to Meet over CVC Capital's Acquisition Bid

Japanese electronics and machinery maker Toshiba Corp. plans to hold an extraordinary board meeting on Wednesday, expected to discuss its response to an acquisition proposal from British investment fund CVC Capital Partners, informed sources said Tuesday.
CVC presented the initial acquisition proposal on April 6, offering to buy Toshiba shares for 5,000 yen apiece. It aims to launch a tender offer in July, with the view to delisting Toshiba shares in October.
