高島屋、１７年ぶり赤字　３３９億円、コロナ休業や時短響く―２１年２月期

　高島屋は１２日、２０２１年２月期の連結純損益が３３９億円の赤字（前期は１６０億円の黒字）に転落したと発表した。赤字となるのは０４年２月期以来、１７年ぶり。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大で春先に百貨店や運営する商業施設の臨時休業を余儀なくされ、その後も時短営業が続き客足が大幅に落ち込んだ。
　百貨店事業の苦戦に加え、金融事業もクレジットカードの取り扱いが減少。シンガポールや中国などの海外店舗も、コロナによる人の移動制限が打撃となった。この結果、売上高に当たる営業収益は前期比２５．９％減の６８０８億円に急減した。（2021/04/12-17:41）

Major Japanese department store operator Takashimaya Co. on Monday logged its first net loss in 17 years for the fiscal year that ended in February, hit hard by the fallout of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The company saw a sharp drop in customers as it was forced to close stores temporarily in spring last year and later to shorten their operating hours.
