エアガンで１歳男児撃つ＝虐待死か、両親逮捕―福岡県警

　福岡県田川市の自宅で昨年１１月、三男＝当時（１）＝の全身をエアガンで数十カ所撃って大けがをさせたとして、県警は６日、傷害容疑で父親の自営業常慶雅則（２４）、母親の藍（２４）両容疑者＝いずれも同市伊加利＝を逮捕した。捜査１課によると、三男はけがの直後に肺炎で死亡しており、同課は虐待死の可能性もあるとみて詳しく調べる。
　両容疑者は「エアガンで撃ったことはありません」などと否認している。
　逮捕容疑は２０１８年１１月下旬ごろ、共謀して三男唯雅ちゃんにライフル型のエアガンでＢＢ弾数十発を発射し、全身に全治約３週間の内出血を負わせた疑い。
　同課によると、同年１２月１日、藍容疑者から「三男が息をしていない」と１１９番通報があり、虐待の疑いが発覚。唯雅ちゃんは病院に搬送されたが、同日死亡が確認された。全身には数十カ所の内出血の痕があり、体重は平均を下回っていたという。
　同課は自宅を家宅捜索し、雅則容疑者の所有とみられる複数のエアガンやＢＢ弾を押収した。任意の取り調べに対し、同容疑者は当初、「長男が三男を撃った」などと自身の関与を否定していた。
　事件当時、雅則容疑者は藍容疑者と長男、三男、長女の５人暮らしだった。唯雅ちゃん以外の子に目立った外傷や異常は確認されておらず、現在は全員児童相談所に保護されているという。（2019/11/06-21:21）

Fukuoka Couple Arrested for Shooting Baby with Air Gun

Police on Wednesday arrested a couple in Fukuoka Prefecture, southwestern Japan, on suspicion of heavily injuring their one-year-old son by firing an air gun at him many times.
   The couple is self-employed Masanori Jokei, 24, and his wife, Ai, also 24. The boy, Yuiga, died of pneumonia soon after suffering the injury, raising suspicion that his death resulted from abuse.
   Both the father and the mother have denied shooting Yuiga, their third son.
   The Fukuoka prefectural police suspect the two conspired and shot dozens of plastic bullets at the infant with the rifle-shaped air gun in their home in Tagawa around late November last year.
   The boy suffered internal bleeding all over his body, which needed three weeks to heal.
