４回目の饗宴の儀＝駐日外国大使ら参列

　天皇陛下の即位を祝う「饗宴（きょうえん）の儀」の４回目が３１日午後、皇居・宮殿で行われた。駐日外国大使夫妻や各界代表ら６９１人が参列。天皇、皇后両陛下は皇族方と共に、宮殿「春秋の間」に続き、「豊明殿」で招待客と歓談された。
　天皇陛下は「即位礼正殿の儀を終え、ここに皆さんと饗宴を共にすることを誠に喜ばしく思います」とあいさつし、出席者代表がお祝いの言葉を述べ、乾杯が行われた。駐日大使夫妻らは１５３の国・機関などの２４９人が参列した。

　憲法上の国事行為として２２、２５日は着席形式で、２９、３１日は立食形式で開催。４回で国内外から計２０２１人が参列した。（2019/10/31-18:20）

Japan held the fourth "Kyoen-no-Gi" banquet to celebrate at Emperor Naruhito's enthronement at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Thursday, following last week's ceremony to proclaim his accession to the throne.
   The final banquet was attended by 691 guests, including 249 ambassadors to Japan and their spouses from 153 countries and international organizations as well as leading figures from various fields.
   Together with other Imperial Family members, the Emperor and Empress Masako talked with guests at the "Shunju-no-Ma" room first and then with guests at the "Homeiden" state banquet hall.
   The Emperor said in a speech at each party venue that he was pleased to be attending the banquet with the guests after completing the "Sokuirei-Seiden-no-Gi" proclamation ceremony on Oct. 22.
   Representing guests offered congratulatory remarks and proposed toasts.
