タカラバイオ、ＰＣＲ試薬国内生産８倍へ　月産８００万検体分

　タカラバイオ（滋賀県草津市）が、新型コロナウイルス感染の有無を調べるＰＣＲ検査用試薬の国内生産能力を、現行の８倍に当たる月産８００万検体分に増強することが２日、分かった。国の補助金を活用し、今夏までに体制を整える。将来の感染症にも備え、国内で安定的に供給できるよう整備する。（2021/02/02-12:27）

Takara Bio to Up PCR Test Reagent Capacity by 8-Fold

Japan's Takara Bio Inc. will increase by eight-fold its monthly domestic production capacity for reagents for polymerase chain reaction tests to detect the novel coronavirus, it was learned Tuesday.
After the capacity boost, the company, based in the city of Kusatsu in the western prefecture of Shiga, will be able to make reagents enough to conduct PCR tests for eight million samples a month, informed sources said.
