安倍首相「インフラ老朽化対策に全力」＝被災者医療費免除に前向き

　安倍晋三首相は１６日の参院予算委員会で、台風１９号の被害を踏まえたインフラ整備について「インフラを適切に維持管理・更新していくことは極めて重要だ」とした上で、「喫緊の課題とも言える老朽化対策に、引き続き財源を検討し、万全を期していく」と強調した。公明党の平木大作氏への答弁。
　共産党の井上哲士氏は、被災者支援策として、東日本大震災などの際に実施された医療費窓口負担の免除措置と同様の対応を要求。首相は「被災地の状況や過去の災害時における対応も踏まえる」と述べ、前向きな考えを示した。（2019/10/16-18:32）

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Wednesday pledged to make all-out efforts to address the issue of aging infrastructures in the wake of deadly Typhoon Hagibis.
   "It is extremely important to maintain, manage and update infrastructure appropriately," Abe told a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Councillors, the upper chamber of the Diet, Japan's parliament.
   He made the remark in reply to a question from Daisaku Hiraki of Komeito, the coalition partner of Abe's ruling Liberal Democratic Party.
   The 19th typhoon of the year caused landslides and flooding in many parts of Japan last weekend.
   "We'll continue discussions to secure financial resources for measures to tackle the issue of aging infrastructure, an urgent task," Abe added.
