財金委員長解任を可決　衆院で初、ガソリン減税で対立―後任に立民・阿久津氏

　衆院の井林辰憲・財務金融委員長（自民党）の解任決議が１８日の衆院本会議で、立憲民主党、日本維新の会、国民民主党など野党各党の賛成多数で可決した。衆院によると、現行憲法下で衆院の委員長の解任決議が可決したのは初めて。参院選を控え、ガソリン税暫定税率の７月１日廃止を迫る野党と反対する与党との対立は異例の事態に発展した。
　衆院は１８日夕に改めて本会議を開き、新しい財金委員長に野党各党の賛成多数で立民の阿久津幸彦元首相補佐官を選出した。与党は自民の小林鷹之元経済安全保障担当相を推していた。
　井林氏の解任決議案は立維国と参政、日本保守、社民の野党６党が提出。共産を加えた７党はガソリン税暫定税率の７月廃止に向けた法案を共同で提出しており、審議に応じない自民に対抗した。決議の採決は賛成２３７、反対２２１だった。
　解任決議の採決では提出に加わらなかった共産党とれいわ新選組も賛成に回った。新委員長の選出を受け、衆院財金委の理事懇談会が開かれ、１９日に暫定税率廃止法案の趣旨説明を、２０日に質疑を行うことで合意した。立民の笠浩史国対委員長は１８日、記者団に「暫定税率廃止へ向け、審議をきちっと行っていく」と語った。
　今国会の会期末は２２日（日曜日）で実質的には２０日が最終日となる。参院に送付されても自民、公明両党が多数派のため可決・成立する可能性はほぼない。
　阿久津氏は記者団に「会期は短いが、法案を前に進めるため精いっぱい頑張りたい」と語った。解任された井林氏は「数の力をかさに着た横暴を白日の下に知らしめた」と野党の対応を批判した。（2025/06/18-20:36）

Japan's House of Representatives, the lower chamber of the Diet, passed a motion Wednesday to dismiss Tatsunori Ibayashi of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party as chairman of its Financial Affairs Committee.
   At a Lower House plenary meeting, the motion was approved with support from opposition parties including the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan, Nippon Ishin no Kai (Japan Innovation Party) and the Democratic Party for the People.
   According to the Lower House, it was the first time that a motion to dismiss a standing committee chairman has been approved under the current Constitution.
   The latest move came amid a confrontation between the opposition parties advocating for the abolition of the provisional gasoline tax surcharge, effective July 1, and the ruling parties opposed to the measure, ahead of the election of the House of Councillors, the upper chamber of the Diet, this summer.
   The Lower House will hold another plenary session later in the day to begin the process of appointing Ibayashi's successor. Both the ruling and opposition camps plan to nominate candidates, making an election likely.
