４月の対米輸出額、４カ月ぶり減　追加関税対象、軒並みマイナス―自動車４．８％減、鉄鋼２９％減

　財務省が２１日発表した４月の貿易統計速報（通関ベース）によると、米国向け輸出額は前年同月比で１．８％減の１兆７７０８億円で、４カ月ぶりに減少に転じた。このうち自動車の輸出額が４．８％減、鉄鋼は２９．０％減、アルミニウムなど非鉄金属が０．８％減。トランプ米政権が発動した高関税措置の対象品目が軒並み落ち込んだ。
　米国向け輸出の稼ぎ頭である自動車を中心に輸出額が減少した一方、米国からの輸入額も９９０２億円と１１．６％減少した。円高や原油安などの影響で輸入の減少幅の方が大きく、差し引きの貿易収支は７８０６億円の黒字となった。対米貿易黒字は１４．３％増加した。
　トランプ政権はほぼ全ての貿易相手国・地域を高関税措置の対象にしている。３月に鉄鋼とアルミ、４月に自動車に対する関税をそれぞれ引き上げ、一律１０％分について「相互関税」も導入した。４月の日本の対米輸出は全体で金額は前年同月比で減少したが、輸出数量は１１カ月ぶりに増加した。財務省は引き続き、「関税の影響を見極めたい」としている。
　高関税措置の見直しに向けた日米の関税交渉の決着は依然として見通せない。農林中金総合研究所の南武志理事研究員は「日本の自動車輸出にまだ大きな影響が出ているように見えないが、先行きは下押し圧力が強まる可能性がある」と指摘した。
　４月の貿易統計は全体で、輸出から輸入を差し引いた貿易収支が１１５８億円の赤字。赤字は３カ月ぶりで、輸出が９兆１５７２億円となる一方、輸入は９兆２７３０億円だった。前年同月比の増減率は、輸出が半導体等電子部品や食料品、医薬品が伸び、２．０％増加。輸入は２．２％減少した。（2025/05/21-17:16）

Japan's exports to the United States fell for the first time in four months in April, due apparently to additional tariffs by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, preliminary government data showed Wednesday.
   Japan's U.S.-bound exports in April slid 1.8 pct from a year before to 1,770.8 billion yen, according to the customs-cleared data from the Finance Ministry. Automobile exports shrank 4.8 pct, while steel exports plunged 29.0 pct. Both goods are subject to the U.S. additional tariffs.
   Japan's exports to the United States could drop further if Washington's high tariffs continue.
   In trade with the United States, Japan posted a trade surplus of 780.6 billion yen, up 14.3 pct, mainly due to a 11.6 pct decrease in imports to 990.2 billion yen in response to the yen's advance and lower crude oil prices.
   The Trump administration has imposed additional tariffs on nearly all trade partners.
