公費解体、増え続ける申請　能登の被災家屋、活用模索―石川県

　能登半島地震で全半壊した建物の公費解体の申請数が増え続けている。被害を受けた家屋には古民家が多く、解体が進めば地域の景観や文化的価値が損なわれかねないとの懸念が広がる。石川県は、修理して住み続けることや宿泊施設などへの活用を検討してもらおうと支援を始めた。
　県内の公費解体の申請数は１月末時点で３万６３０４棟に上る。県は昨年８月の段階で解体数を３万２４１０棟と見込んでいたが、今年１月に３万９２３５棟に修正。１０月の作業完了を目指している。
　被災した家屋の住民からは「誰も住まない家を子に残すより、公費で更地にしてほしい」との声が上がる。住居の再建を支援する団体の関係者によると、能登半島には木造の大きな家屋が多く、修理に高い費用がかかる。「住民にとっては『解体した方が得』と映りやすい」という。
　輪島市白米町で１月、建築士らのグループと県、住民が意見交換会を開いた。建築士らが文化的価値のある古民家の解体を急がないよう求めると、区長の白尾友一さん（６１）は「公費で解体できるなら解体するつもりでいた。具体的な道筋が分かれば活用も考える」と応じた。
　県は昨年１２月、被災家屋の修理・活用などについて、建築士らによる無料相談や調査の支援を始めた。政府にも支援策を講じるよう求めている。
　全壊や半壊と判定されても修理すれば住み続けられる家屋はあるという。県は、いったん解体を申請しても申し出があれば留保できると説明。馳浩知事は「修繕して住めるなら住みたい、宿泊所として使いたいという声もある。その選択肢をぜひ提示したい」と話している。（2025/02/09-07:05）

Ishikawa Prefecture has seen an increase in applications for publicly funded demolition of houses damaged by the January 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake that hit the central Japan prefecture.
   Since many of the damaged houses are picturesque traditional buildings, concerns are increasing that their demolition may impair the region's landscape and cultural value.
   The prefectural government has launched a support program for people planning to repair damaged houses to continue to live in them or convert them into accommodation facilities.
   The number of applications for publicly funded demolition totaled 36,304 as of the end of last month. The prefecture revised up the estimated number of damaged homes to be demolished to 39,235 in January from the 32,410 forecast in August last year.
   Demolition work for these buildings are expected to be completed in October this year.
