１０月機械受注、０．７％増　２カ月連続プラス―内閣府

　内閣府が１４日発表した１０月の機械受注統計（季節調整値）によると、企業の設備投資の先行指標となる民間需要（変動の大きい船舶・電力を除く）の受注額は前月比０．７％増の８５８７億円となった。プラスは２カ月連続。非製造業の一部業種で、サーバーなど電子計算機の需要が旺盛だった。基調判断は「足踏みが見られる」に据え置いた。（2023/12/14-11:31）

Japan Core Machinery Orders Rise 0.7 Pct in Oct.

Japan's seasonally adjusted core machinery orders in October rose 0.7 pct from the previous month, up for the second straight month, the Cabinet Office said Thursday.
   Private-sector orders excluding those for ships and power equipment, closely watched as a leading indicator of corporate capital spending, came to 858.7 billion yen, the government agency said.
   Demand for computers, including servers, from some nonmanufacturers was strong.
   But the Cabinet Office kept its basic assessment unchanged, saying that machinery orders are at a standstill.
   Of the core orders, those from nonmanufacturers grew 1.2 pct to 450 billion yen, led by robust orders from wholesalers, retailers and the real estate industry.
