岸田首相、翔太郎秘書官更迭　公邸忘年会問題でけじめ

　岸田文雄首相は２９日、長男で政務担当の首相秘書官を務める翔太郎氏（３２）を６月１日付で交代させると発表した。事実上の更迭で、翔太郎氏は昨年末に首相公邸で親族と忘年会を開いていたことが与野党から批判を浴びていた。後任には、昨年１０月に翔太郎氏と交代した山本高義氏（５１）を充てる。首相官邸で記者団の取材に答えた。
　首相は記者団に「公邸での昨年の行動が政務秘書官として不適切で、けじめをつけるため交代させる」と説明した。任命責任については「私自身にあり、重く受け止めている」と強調。「先送りできない課題一つ一つに答えを出すことにまい進することで、職責を果たしたい」とも語った。（2023/05/29-20:32）

Kishida Dismisses Son over Partying at Official Residence

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has decided to dismiss his first son, Shotaro, as a secretary effective Thursday over a controversial year-end party at the prime minister's official residence, the government said Monday.
   Kishida told reporters that he will replace Shotaro to have him take responsibility for inappropriate actions as secretary to the prime minister for political affaris.
   Shotaro, 32, drew fire from both ruling and opposition lawmakers for holding the party with relatives in the prime minister's official residence in December last year.
   Takayoshi Yamamoto, who was succeeded as secretary by Shotaro last October, will return to the post.
