ＬＧＢＴ、掲載広がる　道徳や社会に、同性婚も―教科書検定

　小学校の教科書でも、性的少数者（ＬＧＢＴなど）といった性の多様性を取り上げるケースが広がっている。前回の検定では保健の教科書２点のみだったが、今回は道徳や社会を含め１０点で触れられた。
　文教社の５、６年保健では、心の健康を学ぶ中で「人によっては、自分の生まれた性別と、心の性別が一致しなかったり、同性の子を好きになったりすることもあります」と記述した。
　光文書院は６年道徳で、東京五輪の開会式で虹色の衣装をまとって国歌斉唱した歌手ＭＩＳＩＡさんの写真を掲載。「ＬＧＢＴＱなどの問題についてさまざまなメッセージを発信している」と紹介した。
　３年道徳で、ＬＧＢＴという言葉は明記せずに、ペンギンの雄のカップルが放棄された卵を温め、赤ちゃんが誕生する「タンタンタンゴはパパふたり」を取り入れたのは教育出版。担当者は「『パートナーシップ制度』の広がっている状況を踏まえた」と説明。同社は６年社会でも、現代日本について学ぶ部分で「性別のちがいや性的少数者をめぐる差別もなくしていかなければなりません」と記載した。
　Ｇａｋｋｅｎは６年道徳で、あらゆる差別と闘った米最高裁の女性判事に関する教材を取り上げた。その中で、同性婚を認める判決を下した点などに触れ「多くの人を力づけたのです」とした。（2023/03/29-07:05）

More Japan School Textbooks Take Up Sexual Diversity Issues

More elementary school textbooks approved in Japan take up sexual diversity issues such as sexual minorities than before.
   Ten textbooks, including for moral education and social studies, cover sexual diversity issues including LGBT people, according to the results of the education ministry's screenings of new elementary school textbooks announced Tuesday.
   Approved new textbooks will come into use in fiscal 2024.
   In the previous screenings four years ago, sexual diversity issues were taken up only in two approved textbooks, both of which were for health education.
   Publisher Bunkyosya's new health textbook for fifth and sixth graders refers to sexual diversity as part of mental health issues.
