作家の眉村卓さん死去＝ＳＦ作品「ねらわれた学園」など、８５歳

　「司政官シリーズ」「ねらわれた学園」などＳＦ作品で知られた作家の眉村卓（まゆむら・たく、本名村上卓児＝むらかみ・たくじ＝）さんが３日午前４時１分、誤嚥（ごえん）性肺炎のため大阪市内の病院で死去した。８５歳だった。大阪市出身。葬儀は９日午後０時３０分から同市阿倍野区阿倍野筋４の１９の１１５の市立葬祭場やすらぎ天空館で。喪主は長女村上知子（むらかみ・ともこ）さん。
　１９６１年に「下級アイデアマン」でデビュー。泉鏡花文学賞などを受賞した「消滅の光輪」など本格ＳＦから短編、エッセーまで幅広く手掛けた。ジュブナイルＳＦの名手としても知られ、「なぞの転校生」「ねらわれた学園」はテレビドラマや映画になった。　
　近年は闘病中の妻のために書き続けた短編集「妻に捧げた１７７８話」（２００４年）が話題となり、映画化された。（2019/11/03-14:22）

Prominent Japanese science fiction writer Taku Mayumura, known for "Shiseikan" (Administrator) series works, "Nerawareta Gakuen" (Targeted School) and many other novels, has died of aspiration pneumonia at a hospital in the western Japan city of Osaka on Sunday. He was 85.
   After making his literary debut in 1961, Mayumura, a native of Osaka, whose real name was Takuji Murakami, created a number of novels, including full-length and short sci-fi works, as well as essays.
   He was particularly known for popular novels in the juvenile sci-fi genre, with Nerawareta Gakuen and "Nazo no Tenkosei" (Mysterious Transfer Student) made into television dramas and movies.
   In 2004, Mayumura released "Tsuma ni Sasageta 1,778 wa," (1,778 Stories Dedicated to My Wife), a collection of short stories he wrote for his ailing wife, Etsuko, who died in 2002. A film made based on the work hit the screen in 2011.
